NLW Asbestos Removal Contractors

A type of asbestos work is either licensable, NNLW or non-licensed. This always has to be determined in each case and will depend on the type of work we are going to carry out, the type of material we are going to work on and its condition. The identification of the type of asbestos-containing material (ACM) to be worked on and an assessment of its condition are important parts of our risk assessment, which needs to be completed before we start work.

Notifiable Licenced Work is a HSE category for all asbestos products that do not fall into the non-licensed bracket, but generally speaking products such as asbestos insulating board, mill board, sprayed coatings, lagging and any other fibrous & friable materials that do not have a cement based solid matrix which encapsulates the asbestos fibres to the greater extent. Sometimes even cement based asbestos products are deemed as being 'Licensable Products' due to them being in a poor condition.

The RVC asbestos team are ARCA & UKATA trained and have all the correct systems & procedures in accordance with 'The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012' and associated legislation, ready to deal with all NLW asbestos removals.
