Dismantling Work

Not all demolition works can be carried out using heavy plant and machinery; sometimes a more sensitive approach is required; often this is after a fire or, when some minor changes are being made to a structure or, the location of a building to be demolished is so close to another that the only sensible method is manual deconstruction.

Wherever possible; high-level access for the demolition team is provided using RVC's Mechanically Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP), which is generally accepted as a safer alternative to scaffold. Dismantling structures by hand is commonly a reverse build process and requires a great deal of skill: RVC are well versed in this process and have the all the right equipment and manpower for the job.
